Breathe - Band Bio
The group members are Shareen, Kyndra, Ashley and Natalie who is the founding member and who’s vision brought everyone together and made Breathe a reality.

Natalie: has been singing and dancing since the age of 3. She has been trained in, Modern dance, jazz and Hip Hop. Throughout her school years she has always been a key participant in choir and dance competition. Natalie graduated from high school at an early age of 16 years old. Having come from a musical family Natalie has always had a passion for singing and dancing. Natalie spends most of her time writing lyrics, singing, and creating new choreography. She has performed in numerous music videos as a dancer and choreographer with both local and established artist such as Missy Elliot, 50 cent and Reggatone artist R. Luna. Natalie was a featured dancer for the recent west coast syndicated television show THE DROP. Natalie has an amazing ability and tenacity when it comes to choreography; she is the main choreographer for the group. Natalie has worked extremely hard in perfecting her craft. From a very early age her dream has been to have a singing group and tour the world.

Ashley: is focused and determined. With a passion for music and a style she can call her own, she is destined for success. A young woman with the heart and soul of someone twice her age, she places her needs last to assist anyone in need. She is beautiful outside as well as in. With one meeting it is evident that she has wonderful personality and character. The dynamic of the
group is elevated by Ashley’s singing and dancing skills. She is a born entertainer; who has studied dancing all of her life. Ashley’s singing and dancing comes natural, but she is eager to expand her craft with constant training in both areas. She adds hard work and motivation to the group.

Kyndra: As the youngest of three and the only girl it is no surprise that she is no stranger to the spotlight, Kyndra has never had vocal lessons and basically taught herself everything she knows about singing. At the age of 15 she wrote and recorded her first solo demo which was a family project entitled “All That I Need.” She wrote 7 of the 10 songs and was really excited about the possibility of getting signed to a major label, but she had to put her music career on a temporary hold for her education. Kyndra has been an exceptional student throughout high school. She went to STARS (Student Travel And Research School) in Malibu, California, Lu He High in Beijing, China and Palisades Charter High, in Pacific Palisades, California where she graduated early in 2003. Her hard work and outstanding Grade Point Average (GPA) got her a scholarship to UC Berkeley where she intended to major in African American Studies/ English with a minor in Comparative Literature and Psychology. After 2 semesters at UC Berkeley, during which she met fellow group mate Shareen, Kyndra decided to study abroad and attend the American University of Paris in France. Kyndra managed to maintain a high GPA in college getting her a spot on the Dean’s List. Upon returning to the states, she met Natalie and soon became the third member of Breathe.

SheShe: was predominantly raised in Los Angeles. Through Childhood she participated in Martial Arts, Music, and Gymnastics, as well as Theatre. She wrote poetry and played the piano and trumpet and did cheerleading. When she came in her own as a young adult, she began re-directing her poetry in Hip Hop,
which she fell in love with in High School. Her interest evolving from what used to be modern dance, jazz, classical piano, and poetry, became a love for rapping and break dancing. Shareen earned a scholarship and attended 1 year at UC Berkeley, majoring in Theatre, African American Studies, and Rhetoric, where she took classes like “Black Music in America” and even many student taught classes such as Break dancing, Free styling, and Evolution of Hip Hop. Her influences range from Old School and Underground Hip Hop to Eminem and Tupac Shakur. While there in the Bay Area, Shareen was the host of a cable access show on Hip Hop and Politics, where special guest Dj’s, break dancers, spoken word poets, and graffiti artists added a new flavor to politics. After two years of finding herself as an artist and student, she has now put her life as a student on hold to pursue rapping full time. She now contributes to the group as a dancer, rapper, and keyboardist while still pursuing her interests in TV, Film, Theatre, and Break dancing.

Together they are an unstoppable force whose time has surely arrived. Thank you for taking time to listen and appreciate the music of Breathe.
